Construction Project Coordinator

Weaver Construction Services is seeking an experienced administrative professional to handle construction project coordination of ongoing projects and other administrative tasks as assigned. Experience in construction industry a plus.

The ideal candidate will be:

-highly organized

-detail oriented

-a problem solver

-a self starter

-a fast learner

-computer competent; experience witih web browsers, GPS software, Outlook, and Excel.

Employee will be responsible for the following duties:

-Liaise among foremen/office/customer/general contractors

-Prepare and submit permit documents

-Assist with scheduling for asphalt, drainage, and line striping crews

-Use of Jobber (construction project and scheduling software); heavy use of email and phone.

-Communicate schedule dates and any scheduling changes to customers/GC’s

-At least twice daily check in with crew foremen to gauge status of current projects and anticipate scheduling changes.

-Communicate any issues from customers/GC’s to appropriate office personnel and follow up on resolutions.

-Monitor GPS to make sure crews are where they should be according to schedule

-Follow up with estimators/owners for pre-project notes, maps, phase maps, etc.

-Follow up with GC’s to obtain current plans and identify major changes not quoted.

-Other administrative duties as assigned.

M-F 8-5 with occasional overtime anticipated depending on current projects.
